Despite middle of the winter, infections in Poland reach their low, with 7-day average number of infections down at 278.

Two years and eleven months after the first registered COVID-19 case in Poland, I get a positive test result. My infection escapes the official statistics despite an attempt to get tested at GPs.

The hot topic is the availability of Paxlovid, the medicine effective at treatment serious COVID-19 cases. In Poland, it is not reimbursed and widely available, unlike in civilised western countries.

I still observe many people sick around, yet fewer with C19, more with flu type B, whose course of infections are more serious (several days in bed with high fever).
